Rethinking is Sebastian Guerrini’s space for the exploration of Image, Identity and Design issues. This exploration is made through his attempt to unravel the deepest aspects involved with each. As a consequence, questions about psychology, anthropology, sociology and the politics of the image are awakened in his writings.

Most of the themes here were taken from Sebastian Guerrini’s PhD thesis in Communication and Image Studies. As in his thesis, the main objective is to understand the social and political life of images and design, and their impact on personal and collective identities, with special attention paid to trying to get to how image design can contribute to the improvement of our current life.

In parallel with the already mentioned exploration, the same subjects are approached through pictures drawn by him, which also aim to catch the essence of each theme.
